É possível avistar sua queda pela parte alta, sua ida até a parte baixa é de difícil acesso, recomendável apenas aos moradores locais e conhecedores, por ser muito perigoso. Ótimo passeio para aqueles que querem apreciar uma vegetação rica e preservada, de campos limpos, cerrado e matas de galeria. Local propício também para avistamento de animais.
Muito importante: ao menor indício de chuva nas cabeceiras do rio, o local deve ser evacuado, principalmente se você optou em fazer a trilha que leva da piscina natural até a parte baixa da Cachoeira Rasga Canga, já que é preciso atravessar o rio na ida e na volta.
