CASCA D'ANTA WATERFALL(HIGH PART)
À 38 km de São Roque de Minas, é a primeira formação do Rio São Francisco, com uma sequência de 5 quedas, possui poços belíssimos e ótimos para um contato próximo à natureza. Águas límpidas, onde ainda é possível perceber a preservação do local observando os animais e a vegetação que ali se encontram. O nome dado a cachoeira vem da árvore Casca d'Anta que, tem propriedades medicinais cicatrizantes. Pesquisadores identificaram que a anta se esfrega no tronco da árvore para curar seus ferimentos. Neste local, é possível apreciar o cânion que o Rio São Francisco forma na descida da serra, 14 km depois da nascente, e é possível chegar até o mirante para vislumbrar uma paisagem deslumbrante da parte baixa. Essa trilha é de nível leve, com algumas pedras altas pelo caminho. Na chegada do mirante recomenda-se não chegar muito próximo à borda, e em épocas de muita ventania o cuidado deve ser maior.
