POÇO DAS ORQUÍDEAS | ORCHIDS WELL
Área pertencente à Cooperativa Agropecuária de São Roque de Minas. O nome Poço das Orquídeas é resultado das primeiras explorações eco-turísticas da região e faz referência à maior atração da imensa fazenda de quase 560 hectares: uma piscina natural arredondada, com praia de cascalho, pequena cachoeira e muitas árvores com orquídeas. A fazenda faz divisa com o Parque Nacional e o acesso é através de trilha a pé até o poço. A trilha passa pela formação rochosa conhecida como Pedra Gigante, vários mirantes e nascentes, tudo numa paisagem de campos limpos. Considerada de nível difícil, por percorrer um caminho longo, de aproximadamente 2 horas (ida), seguida de subidas e descidas na serra, deve ser realizado por pessoas com bom preparo físico e de preferência com guia conhecedor do local.
Area belonging to the Cooperativa Agropecuária de São Roque de Minas. The name Orchids Well is the result of the first eco-tourist explorations of the region and refers to the biggest attraction of the huge farm of almost 560 hectares: a natural rounded pool with gravel beach, small waterfall and many trees with orchids. The farm makes border with the National Park and access is through footpath to the well. The trail passes through the rock formation known as Giant Stone, several gazebos and sources, all in a landscape of clean fields. Considered a difficult level, to walk a long path, approximately 2 hours (one way), followed by ascents and descents in the mountain range, should be carried out by people with good physical training and preferably with a guide who knows the place.
