O que é:
A idéia do geoturismo é agregar o conhecimento científico ao patrimônio natural de forma agradável e compreensível, valorizando-o e possibilitando que aconteça uma visitação turística de modo sustentável. Geoturismo poderia ser definido como uma forma de turismo sustentável com foco primário nas feições geológicas da Terra, numa visão cultural, de conservação e busca de benefícios para as populações locais. O geoturismo propõe ao visitante um aprofundamento sobre as origens do ambiente em que vive, sendo a informação geológica um dos fundamentos para o conhecimento ambiental. É essencial por inserir as pessoas em uma das principais discussões atuais: a relação do homem com o planeta em que vive. Essa nova prática de turismo é um grande aliado na conservação da Serra da Canastra, pois entende-se que é a geologia que abriga toda a biodiversidade, e é no interior da sua geologia onde encontra-se armazenada a água que abastece vários rios e bacias hidrográficas, que irão sustentar o país.
Nossa proposta:
Levar o turista a conhecer e entender a importância da geologia do Parque Nacional da Serra da Canastra, sua geodiversidade, fenômenos e processos que auxiliaram na geração das paisagens encontradas hoje, a evolução geológica. Dessa forma, incentivar por meio dessa pática a geoconservação e auxiliar na criação de uma nova visão sobre a natureza e até mesmo na forma de relacionamento das pessoas com o meio ambiente.
WHAT IS:
The idea of geotourism is to add scientific knowledge to the natural heritage in a pleasant and understandable way, valuing it and enabling a sustainable tourism visit to take place. Geotourism could be defined as a form of sustainable tourism with a primary focus on Earth's geological features, a cultural vision, conservation and the pursuit of benefits for local populations. The geotourism proposes to the visitor a deepening about the origins of the environment in which it lives, being the geological information one of the foundations for the environmental knowledge. It is essential to put people in one of the main current discussions: the relationship of man to the planet in which he lives. This new tourism practice is a great ally in the conservation of Serra da Canastra, because it is understood that it is the geology that shelters all biodiversity, and it is within its geology that the water is stored that supplies several rivers and basins which will sustain the country.
OUR PROPOSAL:
Take the tourist to know and understand the importance of the geology of the Serra da Canastra National Park, its geodiversity, phenomena and processes that helped in the generation of the landscapes found today, the geological evolution. In this way, to encourage through this photic the geoconservation and help in the creation of a new vision about the nature and even in the way of people's relationship with the environment.
